Ingredients:
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 teaspoons applesauce
- 2 tablespoons whole milk
- 2 tablespoons apple cider
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Add the dry ingredients to a large bowl and whisk until well blended or sift together.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients starting with the milk and ending with the butter.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes depending on the size of the donut pans.
- Let cool and then brush with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar to taste.
